Understanding Accredited Investors

At Golden Investments, it’s important for our potential investors to understand what qualifies someone as an accredited investor:
  • Business Qualifications: Investing on behalf of a business with over $5 million in assets or where all equity owners are accredited investors.
  • Income: An individual income of $200,000 or more for the last two years with the expectation to maintain or exceed that level this year.
  • Joint Income: A combined income with a spouse of $300,000 or more for the last two years with the expectation to continue at that level.
  • Net Worth: A net worth exceeding $1 million, excluding the value of the primary residence, either individually or jointly with a spouse.
  • Professional Credentials: Holding specific financial credentials such as Series 7, Series 65, or Series 82 licenses.
